Trust Your Move Terms Of Service
These Trust Your Move terms of service form the agreement between Trust Your Move and each firm (“you”, the “Firm”) that creates an account on the platform. By signing up, or by using the platform, you agree to them on behalf of your business.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
1. The Service
Trust Your Move is a software-as-a-service platform for managing storage units, bookings, payments, invoices, client communication and related records (the “Service”). We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own business during the term of this agreement, subject to the limits of your plan.
You must be a business established in the United Kingdom, and the person accepting these terms must be authorised to bind the Firm. The Service is not offered to consumers.
2. Accounts And Security
- You are responsible for everyone you invite to your account and for keeping credentials confidential. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
- You must give accurate Firm, VAT and contact details and keep them up to date; they appear on invoices your clients receive.
- We may require multi-factor authentication for roles with access to financial or client data.
3. Your Data And Our Processing Role
You own the data you and your clients put into the Service (“Firm Data”). For personal data about your clients you are the controller and we are your processor. In that capacity we will: process Firm Data only on your documented instructions (which include your configuration of the Service); keep it confidential; apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures; use only sub-processors listed in our privacy policy and tell you of changes; assist you with data-subject requests and security incidents; and delete or return Firm Data at the end of the agreement, except where the law requires retention (notably invoices and VAT records for six years).
You warrant that you have a lawful basis for the personal data you process through the Service and that you provide your clients with the privacy information the law requires.
4. Acceptable Use
You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:
- Use the Service unlawfully, including to store goods you are not entitled to hold or to issue misleading invoices or notices
- Upload malicious code, probe or attack the Service, or attempt to bypass rate limits, plan limits or access controls
- Send unsolicited marketing email through the Service or impersonate another business on a booking page or custom domain
- Resell or white-label the Service to third parties, or use the API to build a competing product
- Scrape or copy other Firms’ public booking pages beyond ordinary browsing
We may suspend an account immediately where we reasonably believe this section has been breached, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
5. Plans, Trials And Fees
- New Firms receive a 14-day free trial with the limits shown on the pricing page. If you choose a paid plan during the trial, you get it straight away and the first fee is charged when the trial ends (or straight away if fewer than two days of the trial are left).
- If you do not choose a paid plan by the end of the trial, the account becomes read-only: you can see your records but not change them, and your public booking page stops taking bookings. If no plan is chosen within 30 days after that, the account is suspended. Nothing is deleted, and choosing a plan restores access.
- Current monthly plan fees are £39 (Starter), £89 (Pro) and £149 (Enterprise), each plus VAT, as shown on the pricing page. We may change fees on 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing date.
- Plan limits (units, office users, crew logins, warehouses, payment gateways, estimates and features such as the API, webhooks and custom domain) are enforced in the Service.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged pro rata on your next invoice. Downgrades you make yourself take effect from your next billing date and only once your usage is within the new plan’s limits.
- If a plan change made through the billing portal or by us leaves you over a limit, nothing is deleted. You cannot add more of that item until you reduce usage or upgrade; only your oldest warehouses up to the limit stay editable; features the new plan does not include (such as webhooks, the custom domain and the API) stop working; and pending invitations beyond your user limits are cancelled.
- Fees are non-refundable except where these terms or the law say otherwise.
6. Payments Via Stripe
Subscription fees are collected by card through Stripe Billing on the date shown in your subscription settings. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your card until you cancel. If a charge fails we will retry and notify you. The account keeps working for 7 days; after that it is read-only until the payment is made, and we may suspend it if the payment remains outstanding after the retry period.
Payments your clients make to you are processed through your own Stripe account using Stripe Connect. You contract with Stripe directly under the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, Stripe’s fees apply to those payments, and Trust Your Move is not a party to the transaction between you and your client. Trust Your Move does not hold client funds.
7. Availability And Support
We aim to make the Service available 24 hours a day and target 99.5% monthly uptime, excluding planned maintenance (announced in advance where practicable) and events outside our reasonable control. We provide support by email on working days. We back up data regularly and keep encrypted backups in the UK or EEA. The Service is provided on an “as is” basis beyond the commitments expressly stated in these terms, and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Your Responsibilities For Compliance
The Service helps you issue VAT invoices, keep records and manage the abandoned-goods process under the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977. It does not replace professional advice. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your rates, VAT treatment, notice templates and decisions to dispose of goods, and for complying with any legal requirements that apply to your business.
9. Intellectual Property
We own the Service, its software, design and documentation. You own your Firm Data, branding and content and grant us a licence to host and process them only to provide the Service. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the Service without obligation.
10. Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other’s confidential information secret and use it only for the purposes of this agreement, except where disclosure is required by law.
11. Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
- Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with this agreement in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
- We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data, or for indirect or consequential loss, however arising.
- You will indemnify us against claims by your clients or third parties arising from your breach of these terms or of the law.
12. Term, Cancellation And Termination
- This agreement starts when you create an account and continues until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription. Access continues to the end of the period already paid for, then for a further 14-day grace period; no refund is due for the unused part of a month.
- When the grace period ends, the account is suspended. While it is suspended your staff cannot use the dashboard except Settings → Subscription and their own security settings, the owner can still download the Firm’s data, your booking page, partner API and webhooks stop, and your clients can still view and pay their invoices in the client portal but cannot make new requests.
- We may terminate on 30 days’ notice for convenience, or immediately for material breach, non-payment after the retry period, or if we are required to by law.
- After termination you may export your data for 30 days, after which we delete or anonymise it except for records we must retain by law. Invoices and VAT records are kept for six years in line with HMRC requirements.
13. Changes To The Service Or These Terms
We may improve or change features over time. We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email of any change to these terms that materially reduces your rights; continuing to use the Service after that date is acceptance of the change.
14. General
- Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
- You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it to a successor of our business.
- These terms, the privacy policy and your plan selection are the entire agreement between us.
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues in force.
15. Governing Law And Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it, without prejudice to either party’s right to seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction.
